VoCals Win ICCA Finals

The SoCal VoCals won the 2008 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella! Receiving a unanimous nod for first place at the Finals in New York City, the SoCal VoCals came away with the win, and the award for Outstanding Choreography (Lili Fuller). The group was also featured on The Today Show, singing a rendition of Somebody to Love by Queen. Click here for the Daily Trojan article on the VoCal victory.

VoCals in Newsweek

Our very own Dan Payson-Lewis recently wrote an article that was published in Newsweek about his experience in the Vocals. It's called "My Real Hollywood Ending" and you can read it in the Aug. 18-25, 2008 Issue or read an online version here.

SoCal Vo-Ho-Ho-Cal Concert

This December, the VoCals will be putting on their annual Holiday Concert! They'll be performing new tunes, and a bunch of your Holiday favorites. So, come out to the UUC on December 13th, and we'll be sure to get you in Holiday mood.

New Album Coming Soon

We are currently recording our 6th studio album, which will feature all three songs from our ICCA Championship performance. We expect to be releasing the album sometime in the Fall 2008 semester, and we will keep you updated! In the meantime, stay tuned for the release of individual tracks on iTunes!
